Just One More Bite: Join the Community
A membership for a nourishing, intentional relationship with food

Done with dieting.
But, still thinking about food all the time?

Many smart, self-aware women find that food still takes up far more mental space than they'd like, even after years of personal growth work. Just One More Bite is a practice space for building a nourishing, intentional relationship with eating. One that starts from the inside out.

Food noise did not come from nowhere.
It is the accumulated static of every diet, every rule, every time you were taught that your body's signals could not be trusted.

For many of us, years of diets and food rules did not just fail. They quietly eroded something more fundamental: the ability to trust what our own bodies are telling us. The result is not a lack of discipline. It is a loud, exhausting mental background track that runs almost constantly.

Recognise any of these?

Mentally calculating tomorrow's meals today
Replaying what you ate yesterday
Negotiating with yourself over good vs. bad foods
Feeling slightly guilty after most meals
Wondering if you will ever just stop thinking about this
Taking a GLP-1 medication and finding that your appetite has shifted, but the complicated feelings around food are still very much there
"For the first time in years, I am not mentally negotiating with food all day. I did not realize how much space that was taking up until it started to quiet down."

You are not failing intuitive eating.
You were never taught how to practice it.

There is a crucial difference between understanding something and experiencing it. You can read every book about food freedom and still feel chaotic at dinner. The nervous system was trained over decades, and it takes practice โ€” slow, gentle, and supported, to retrain it. That is what this community was built to offer.

This is not something I fixed overnight.
It is something I practiced my way into.

I am Jenny Eden Berk, eating psychology coach, culinary nutritionist, and author of The Body Image Blueprint. I have a Master's in Psychology and Education from Penn, and I have spent years working with women who are smart, self-aware, and genuinely baffled that food is still so complicated.

Being educated and savvy does not protect you from food noise. If anything, it can make it louder. You know better, so why don't you feel better?

I found my way to a nourishing, intentional relationship with eating not through more information, but through paying attention differently: to flavor, hunger, satisfaction, the actual sensory experience of eating. The mental noise around food settled gradually. I built this community so others can do the same work, together.

Every episode includes a research-backed practice designed to create real, lasting change in how you experience eating. Organized into seven arcs that build on each other. A complete listening guide is included so you always know exactly where to start.

1
Foundations
What conscious eating actually is โ€” and why the approach you've been taking hasn't stuck.
2
Your Sensory World
How taste, smell, sound, sight, and temperature shape satisfaction and eating pleasure.
3
The Emotional Landscape
Food memories, stress eating, comfort food, guilt, and why you eat the way you do.
4
Body Literacy
Learning to read your own signals โ€” hunger, fullness, satisfaction, pace.
5
Unlearning Diet Culture
The language, cycles, and hidden beliefs that diet culture left behind.
6
Environment & Systems
Building the structure that makes conscious eating consistent, not effortful.
7
Contextual Mastery
Real-life situations โ€” holidays, social meals, leftovers, and the moments that derail you.

You left diet culture.
But, you have not quite arrived anywhere yet.

That in-between place โ€” done with the rules, not yet at ease with food, can feel strangely isolating. Most spaces online are still on the diet side. This one is not.

From inside the community

"I can’t thank Jenny enough for all of her help. She made me feel safe, and understood, and like my (extensive) list of challenges was never ‘too much.’ I now have a whole list of foods to try that hit the perfect balance between feeling novel, but still safe."

— Community member

"Jenny is very knowledgeable about nutrition and how it affects your body. But I think her superpower is making you feel safe and that your health matters to her. She explained everything, so I quickly understood and could make progress."

— Community member

"Jenny took us on the most amazing journey of self-discovery. She has helped me break down the barriers that have stood in the way of me becoming my happiest me. She has taught me to listen and trust myself."

Questions

I've tried everything. Why would this be different? +
Most approaches give you more information โ€” more rules, more frameworks, more plans. This membership is built around practice and experience. The goal isn't to learn more about eating. It's to actually feel differently around it, over time, with support.
I already follow intuitive eating. Is this for me? +
Yes โ€” especially if you intellectually understand intuitive eating but still feel chaotic or loud around food. That gap between knowing and actually experiencing it is exactly what we work on here.
What are Substack and Heartbeat, and why two platforms? +
Substack is where the podcast library and written content live โ€” you pay there and access the episodes. Heartbeat is the community platform โ€” weekly prompts, open threads, live sessions, and voice notes from Jenny. One membership gives you both. You'll get a link to Heartbeat right after joining.
How much time does membership involve? +
As much or as little as fits your life. Podcast episodes run 5โ€“15 minutes. The Quarterly Mindful Lounge is one hour, four times a year. The community is there when you want it โ€” there's no pressure to show up constantly.
Do I have to start the podcast from Episode 1? +
No โ€” and we actively encourage you not to. The library guide maps all 55 episodes into seven arcs so you can start with whatever's most relevant right now. Stress eating this week? Go to Arc 3. Want to understand why eating has stopped feeling pleasurable? Arc 2. The library meets you where you are.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes, always. No hoops, no guilt trips. Though most members tell us that the shift in how they feel around food is too meaningful to walk away from.

A nourishing, intentional
relationship with food is possible.

It doesn't require perfection and it won't happen overnight. But grounded in how you actually want to feel around food โ€” and flexible enough for your complicated, nuanced real life โ€” it is genuinely worth practicing for.
